Boris FX Mocha Pro is an academy award winning planar tracker.

It’s fully GPU accelerated and packed with cool features. Optics

Boris FX Optics is a digital toolbox for photographers.

It contains some of the most impressive filters and effects from the Continuum and Sapphire collections and makes them available directly within Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

You can easily add colour grading, lens flares, chromatic abberation and many other stylistic effects to your photos.

You can also add completely new visual elements, from clouds to planets, custom lighting or aurora borealis effects into your shot.

With thousands of great presets and a fully non-destructive workflow, Boris FX Optics is one of my favourite plugins for Photoshop at the moment.

Silhouette

Boris FX Silhouette is an industry leading tool focused on rotoscoping and paint work.

It’s been used in some of the biggest Hollywood movies over the last 15 years.

I do always have to admit that I don’t use Silhouette myself. I always just cheap out and do all of my rotoscoping and tracking in Mocha Pro instead.

However, Silhouette takes painting, masking, rotoscoping and tracking to a whole new level.

Besides, well, rotoscoping, Silhouette allows you to paint onto your video footage and track the paint to the moving objects to add, remove or alter any visual element of your shot.

You can use it for matte paintings, wounds, tattoos, dealing with warping surfaces – and then composite everything together, GPU accelerated, using a node based workflow.
