Mocha Pro

Mocha Pro is an academy award winning planar tracker. It works directly within host applications such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, Nuke, Fusion, SonyVegas, HitFilm, Media Composer and many other programs.

Mocha Pro is a great tool for screen inserts, match moving and rotoscoping, easily removing objects and wires – even from moving shots. You can use it to create 3D camera solves, fixing lens distortion and camera stabilization and it supports 360/VR footage natively.

Mocha Pro also now offers a really cool feature called PowerMesh.

PowerMesh allows you to track distorting and warping surfaces like people’s faces and skin, T-shirts and cloth. This makes it very easy to replace logos on deforming objects, create advanced visual effects or rotoscoping moving shapes.

Continuum Complete & Sapphire

Boris FX Sapphire and Continuum Complete are two huge collections of plugins, filters and effects for film makers, motion graphics and visual effects artists. You would have likely seen many these tools used in popular music videos, TV shows and movies.

While there are some similar effects in both of these collections, Continuum is aimed more towards video editors and motion graphics designers while Sapphire focuses more on finishing and visual effects.

Continuum contains tools for chroma keying, match moving, rotoscoping, image restoration, film grain and looks as well and contains some massive plugins such as Particle Illusion and Title Studio for creating production ready animated 3D titles!

Sapphire contains all of the bling!

From one of my personal favourite effects, the Sapphire Lens Flare effect, to glows, gleams, shimmers, light leaks and bokeh to grunge and textures. It comes with thousands of presets for camera shakes and lens whacking effects, chromatic aberration and tons of great looking transitions.
Sapphire makes it really easy to just add that little bit of extra to your videos.

And if you’re not satisfied with the thousands of presets already included you can build your own custom transitions and effects in Sapphire using a node based workflow.

Silhouette

Silhouette is a powerful non-destructive tool for advanced rotoscoping, paint and compositing tasks. It has been used on some big name projects such as Avatar, Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones.

It is aimed at rotoscoping artists and features a lot of advanced tools for making rotoscoping and tracking, dealing with warping surfaces, painting out or onto objects and matte generation as easy as possible.

Optics

Optics is a digital toolbox for photographers. It works directly from within Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom or as a standalone application. The Optics plugin contains 160 filters and effects based on all of the exciting effects you can find in the Sapphire and Continuum Complete collections.

Anything from glows, light leaks, rays and lens flares to generative effects for skies, clouds, muzzle flashes, grunge, lighting strikes and a whole lot more.

Optics contains advanced masking tools so you can control exactly what effects are applied where and how.

The entire Optics workflow is non-destructive which allows you to experiment, tinker and try until you find something that really hits the mark for you!
