How To Make Tutorial Requests

Hi everyone!

I have decided to create a separate forum for tutorial requests (for now) to keep them separate from all the discussions and make it easier for me to keep track of them.

I might end up merging this forum with the others depending on how things go.

Before posting any requests, please check my Tutorials Search page to see if I already have a tutorial for you. If you can't find one, feel free to post a request and I'll see what I can do.

Please keep in mind that I get a lot of requests (on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and here) and can't make any promises as to when or IF I will get around to them. That said, I do read all requests and try to keep them in mind as best as I can

Cheers,
Tobias

Thank you for making an easy place for us to ask questions and for advice, great new forums! Also, keep up the amazing work on your channel, yours is actually the only one I'm subscribed to... About your channel; do you think you could do a couple of advanced AE tutorials please? Because your channel has lots of beginer and intermediate tutorials but not many advanced ones.
Thanks a lot for all the work you put into your channel!

Thank you for testing out the forums Hopefully it'll be a good place to share some useful info with everyone and keep things a bit better organised than I can on YouTube or Facebook.

What exactly do you have in mind when you say 'advanced AE tutorials'?
Since After Effects is aimed at video compositing, and I feel I've covered pretty much everything there is to do in AE itself, the only way to take it further would be to

a) use plugins
b) 3D integrations

With my tutorials on Blender I do intend to make tutorials for 3D integrations. This will involve creating and tracking 3D elements into your shot. The elements would be created in Blender, rendered out and then composited back in After Effects. That'd be the next 'advanced' type of tutorials I do intend to create

With in After Effects itself however, I am not sure how much more 'advanced' one can go. But I am always open to suggestions

I'm really excited and happy to hear you're going to do more 3D integration tutorials! You helped clear up some confusion on my part already with the Minecraft IRL post but am looking forward to seeing more like that.

BTW - I agree with SFXMan101, this is a really great site design, loaded with incredible content. Thank you for all your hard work!

Thank you for the friendly words bugman!

I'm always (happily) surprised by how many nice people I meet all over the world through my website and YouTube channel and I feel really humbled that people seem to get useful things out of my silly tutorials

More Blender (and then 3D integration) tutorials will be coming to my channel soon.
The next video will be an announcement (and giveaway) though for this website - and the launch of these Forums
