I've got a Minecraft Creeper that is rigged and textured that I'd like to animate to explode, aka - blinking white prior to exploding. I was thinking the way to achieve this would be to create a 2nd material with a White Diffuse BSDF mixed with a Transparent BSDF that I keyframe on and off. Linked screenshot shows my node setup.
How would I go about animating this material to be active when I want it to? Is this even the right approach?Nodes Screenshot
