PC Hardware for After Effects?

I've been getting my feet wet with After Effects and have been studying it religiously for the past 5 years. Now, I am working more and more with Boris FX plugins; Mocha, Particles, etc. as well as Red Giant plugins, plus Cinema 4D.

I don't really have an old Computer, it is decently beefy, but it is a gaming rig and rendering in real time in AE, especially after applying Trapcode effects on real footage, or using Cinema 4D with 3D objects in AE taxes my system like crazy. (I can post my specs if necessary)

What PC hardware would you recommend to at least get a somewhat smooth compositing experience inside of AE and the other tools?
