Hello sir, i am newbie in after effects, can i ask why when i render my video in after effects it only use CPU not my GPU. I have Graphics Card but its not used when rendering. i see it on task manager my CPU is 100% usage while my GPU is on 0% usage. my question is how can i user my GPU while rendering videos in after effects. Thank you very much,

Hi Carlo,

It all depends on what effects you use in your composition. After Effects does not make much use of your GPU unless you use the Raytrace Renderer or plugins/effects that use it - e.g. Video Copilot Element 3D. For the most part, it will simply render on your CPU
